VINDecode Pro allows you to quickly decode a cars VIN (Vehicle Identifying Number) to show technical information about car (year of production, origin, some technical details).
"PRO" version has an additional features: full report saving, advanced controls in Archive section, screen rotation support, UI tweaks and improvements (compare to plain VINDecode).

Service issue
This app works for reading the basic vin however every time I try to get more vin details I get an error message saying it cant connect to the service

Bought it, tried it... Only allows for info that it can pull from online???? Cant edit pieces of info that doesnt get filled in. And even when you try to pull more info it cant do it. Sorry but the year of vehicle isnt enough info for me to sort through my inventory. Cant believe I paid $1.99

Do not waste your money
This app couldnt even tell me the make of the vehicle much less anything else. But it can tell you what country it was built in.

Car owner
This application did a very poor job. It was incorrect about the engine in my 1993 GMC truck. It said the engine was a 2.8L V6, the VIN code for which would be R. The 8th digit of the VIN is W which denotes a 4.3L V6. Whomever wrote this app needs to learn more about cars and about programming apps.

Dont waste your money
Total waste dont buy. It is never able to connect with their system. All it gives is the model year.
